Localizada na Praça dos Mártires, esta mesquita majestosa, agora a mais emblemática do Líbano, é distinguida pelo estilo arquitetônico otomano. A mesquita foi construída com pedras amarelas e uma enorme cúpula azul, e apresenta quatro minaretes que chegam a 65 metros de altura.
