Hard locations leads to awesome photographs... Rock formations in Cedars of Jaj made the sunset shot a bit difficult by reaching the cliff of the rocks, being steady on them and by handling the tripod.
After reading about the cause that makes the rocks look like spikes and can cause injuries in case of slippery, I realized, and don't know if this true but found it logical, it is because of the heavy wind in the area, mixed with rain and snow will do such amazing sculpture in the rocks.
Concerning the wind point, I can totally approve because last Saturday nighy, Beirut and area was ZERO wind and 32°C while Jaj was 14°C with wind!!
