Remnants of the summer - my family and I ferment a mix of yoghurt and burghal under the hot summer's sun for over a week to preserve and consume the Kishik in the winter time. There is nothing more satisfying on cold winter mornings than eating this soup, remembering the laughter shared last summer with Marta and baby Jade as we laid fresh sheets down for fermenting and continued the process passed onto us from mother to daughter 🌞❄️ I hope that wherever this message finds you, you are filled with joy and laughter and meals made with love
