Zahle 🇫🇷Quoi de plus rafraichissant qu’un dimanche d’été sur les rives du Berdawni ? On dit que c’est à Zahlé, appelée la fiancée de la Békaa qu’a été inventé le mezzé. Au début du 20ème siècle, Zahlé était un carrefour où venaient se retrouver des marchands de toute la région emportant avec eux leurs mets qu'ils dégustaient au bord du fleuve. Zahlé a ainsi été la première ville du monde arabe a être intégrée dans la catégorie « gastronomie » des villes créatives de l’Unesco en 2013. L’idéal est de visiter les caves autour de Zahlé, pour certaines historiques comme celles de Ksara, ou encore le Domaine Wardy. Poursuivez ensuite la journée par un déjeuner sur les rives du fleuve. Vous pourrez voir flotter des fruits dans le Berdawni, technique utilisée par les restaurateurs pour les maintenir au frais. N’oubliez pas de goûter à l’arak, spécialité de la région.
