Whether it be pickling, marinating, conserving, or preserving these delicious vegetables and yogurt balls, one thing is for sure, they play a very important role in the Lebanese #mezza baquets served before any main meal at a restaurant or at home. Mezza are usually served in small dishes in our middle Eastern cuisine. Olives would have to be the king of the Mezza at any function and is usually served with breakfast, lunch and dinner. This year, as part of her performance work my daughter @justineyoussef, supported by @parra_artiststudios, got all who attended to help crack a whole box of olives to eat next season, ensuring I have enough olives to feed a whole village. 😂😂
