To my dear friends,
This photo of our lounge room holds a masterful painting by my daughter @justineyoussef 's wonderful friend @apsarasa and a framed photograph that always humbles me of my family and I in the hummus fields of our village home in North Lebanon.
With this image from my home I want to thank you for your support and encouragement here on Instagram as I share images, stories and recipes of intimate moments in my life from Lebanon to Australia. I've been somewhat absent and posting less frequently on IG because the Leukemia I've been battling for many years now has led me to my current course of Chemotherapy.
I'm so lucky to have an incredible support system of loving family and friends by my side and I couldn't be more grateful. My energy levels aren't as they were even two weeks ago but I promise you, as the treatment kicks in and I find more health, I will continue to share images of more traditional Lebanese dishes, recipes and memories with you all in the hope of inspiring.
To my loyal and loving @galluzzo_deli customers, I will keep you posted as to when I can continue catering and providing you with my homemade hummus and mezze.
