(Falougha, Mont-Liban, Lebanon) This picture is taken from the Tele liban owned Canal 11 building that was bombed during the civil war. 40 years later, lebanese people still bomb that channel with their TL jokes! #jesuisTeleLiban #arrêtez😡 On a bright note, we are sunset hiking there this Sunday (check the info below👇🏼)🌅 . . 📆📍Sunday, September 9: Sunset n Night Hike🌅 Falougha 🚎Meeting point: Jdeideh-metn, behind Sagesse Garden, 2h30pm (we can pick up hikers along our way north) 👕🍎What to get: 2L of water, light dinner, healthy snacks, light jacket, head lamp or flashlight, chill vibes 🌳Description: We start our hike in the Soha resort and proceed towards the Kneisseh Summit where the TV channel Canal 11 building was bombed during the civil war. We will pass by the Soha source, the Falougha Cedars, the Kfarselwen and Falougha lakes and some amazing views of both Metn and Bekaa valley! The views will leave you amazed. We will witness the sunset at the peak and then head back the same path at night (headlamp or flashlight is a must) towards the bus. Hike distance 17 kms and moving time around 4-5 hours. Difficulty level: Above Moderate.
