This is your ultimate hotel if you're ever visiting Beirut. A week there also happens to be equivalent to my college tuition. Behind the glamorous hotel was the now damaged Holiday Inn. back in 1974, the Holiday Inn hosted the first revolving restaurant in the middle east. Unfortunately, it became a strategic point for snipers during the civil war. Today it stands as a big fuck you to solidere, the company that helped rebuild the downtown area yet it did so while destroying many crucial historical sites.
