This is a building that stood in the middle of the Lebanese war conflicts...borderline between two pieces of a divided Beirut. It was heavily broken and shattered. I do not know who is the architect who recently "revisited" it...but the way the work is done around the bullet holes and bombed structure, keeping its history alive, is pure perfection to me. Not all wounds are meant to be healed and forgotten, some should stay as a reminder that we survived and hopefully learned!
