#TheWeatherNews: If you check your windows, you can notice high winds, heavy rain, and most probably low temperature. Yeah well this definitely not a usual winter storm. Tonight lebanon will face a strong snow storm that will hit the eastern coast of the Mediterranean sea. This is a result of masses of a low-pressure areas heading from the north towards our region; joint with another thunderstorm heading from the west. We will face cold northern winds with high speed during certain periods and very low temperature tonight which will reach maximum 5 degrees on the coast and -1 in the mountains. Snow will reach the heights of 1000 to 800 m above sea-level. Expect some thunder and lightning from time to time. Tomorrow, the volume of precipitants will decrease, yet snowfall will reach the levels of 500m above sea-level, especially in the northern areas of the country. This is due to the low temperature which will reach maximum 10 degrees on the coasts and 4 degrees in the mountains and it gets lower as you go above 1000m. Be safe if you're on the move tomorrow especially if you're taking the mountain roads.
