The Grotto known as Saint Marina's Grotto, where the expelled monk Marinos was sent along with his allege new born son... It is only after his death that it was discovered that it Marinos was actually Marina, and accepted in silence the accusation of fathering the child.
After her death Marina was proclaimed Saint, and has a chapel dedicated to her used as a resting place for numerous Maronite Patriarchs!
Unfortunately the grotto is almost abandoned and vandalized!
Halos on defaced icons can still be seen!
