Tawlet Souk el Tayeb in Singapore... Food brings people together... and it brought Tawlet cooks to Singapore on the occasion of the Singapore International Festival of Arts (SIFA). Nada Saber, Mona el Dor (aka Em Ali), Fadia Chaptini and Zeinab Kachmar are preparing Msakhan, Manaiish, Fatayer, Falafel and plenty of good things for tomorrow's event: Kamal Mouzawak will be speaking at "O.P.E.N. inspiration: Make Food Not War", at the Malay Heritage Center. (It's one of "The O.P.E.N." events that are organized during the festival. "The O.P.E.N." is a public engagement initiative from the SIFA, offering eye-opening insights about the world and humanity).
