Staring this Friday (23rd), I’ll begin releasing my unpublished book on my website. It is free and will come in easily digestible (and sinfully addictive) chunks, once a week. Perfect for reading over a cup of coffee on whatever passes for your Sunday. Part travelogue, part memoir, plenty of drama, it’s a collection of 20 years of stories from Lebanon, hung off the back of a 480km walk I took a couple of years ago, from one end of Lebanon to the other. Expect love, amazement and confusion. Expect much beauty, some ugliness and a great deal of the unexpected. In part, it will explain how I fell madly in love with the world’s least probable country as well as how a boy on his way overland to China in 1998 ended up staying slightly longer than the three days he'd originally planned for this lovely little slice of the eastern Mediterranean.
