It is free and will come in easily digestible (and sinfully addictive) chunks, once a week. Perfect for reading over a cup of coffee on whatever passes for your Sunday. Part travelogue, part memoir, plenty of drama, it’s a collection of 20 years of stories from Lebanon, hung off the back of a 480km walk I took a couple of years ago, from one end of Lebanon to the other. Expect love, amazement and confusion. Expect much beauty, some ugliness and a great deal of the unexpected. In part, it will explain how I fell madly in love with the world’s least probable country as well as how a boy on his way overland to China in 1998 ended up staying slightly longer than the three days he'd originally planned for this lovely little slice of the eastern Mediterranean. Oh and my website? www.singhbartlett.com. But don’t worry, I’ll post a weekly link on here, too.
