Sahlab🌸
Sahlab is a sweet warm milk based drink that u can enjoy alone or with fresh bread or biscuits. It usually contains a white powder extracted from orchids(the actual sahlab).This recipe is made from scratch, we will use cornstarch instead because sahlab is sometimes hard to find.
Ingredients🌸
4 cups of warm milk
4 tbsp of cornstarch
4 tbsp of granulated sugar
2 tsp of honey(optional)
2 tsp of rose water
Cinnamon for garnish
Method🌸
-In a saucepan and on a high heat,add the milk,cornstarch,sugar and honey and keep stirring until it thickens
-Add the rose water and mix
-Sprinkle with some cinnamon and serve
