the view over south-western #beirut from an abandoned hotel, destroyed during the civil war but still standing, right on the beach in the area where #jnah meets #ouzai. in the pre-war eras, the beaches stretching south from here were popular sandy spots for city people during the summer. then, during the war, the shore became home to internal refugees fleeing fighting in rural #lebanon – today, these communities remain and the once-improvised houses have become part of the urban fabric. #BeirutCity #Beyrouth #LebanonLove #Liban #Libano #Lebanese #LebaneseLife #BeirutLovers
