Remembering the times when we were kids and we would pick baskets full of #تين figs, climb onto our flat rooftops, split each fig in half and lay it out on the cement borders of the roof to dry under Lebanon’s #لبنان blazing hot summer’s sun. In winter, sitting around the wooden fireplace trying to keep warm whilst the snow is falling outside, we would roast acorns and potatoes and for dessert we would bring out the dried figs. Ohhhh those warm winters nights, embedded in my memory till forever. ❤️
