#diveintoaction with us for a #sort2recycle clean up infront of Portemilio in Kaslik with 100 #ecowarriors from Troupe Bannocks and Troupe Tiguas of Scout Champville tomorrow from 9am-1pm, followed by our @ecosouk from 3-5pm with @gsadp to rethink production to consumption... because without tackling all sides we will keep creating and drowning in our waste! 🌊

Huge Aloha to Dr. @raniabassileter for her gracious time and support scouting and communicating with municipalities. This spot was chosen due to its location for scouts but it also happens to be a particular personal clean up as I spent many childhood teen nights and summer days sun gazing and swimming in Portemilio only to come back years later and see its destruction. Good thing it can be cleaned up and recycled while we educate about pollution and redesign to divert from landfills and minimise more waste reaching the seas. The oil reaching the shoreline is another story we will have to continue pressure and prevention on. .
