Painting the Pink House in the 1970's. Painting the Pink House in the 1970's. The Pink House (La Maison Rose) was rented by the Khazen Family at the time. However, it was also home to Palestinian, Syrian and Israeli soldiers during the war period. Today, it is home to the arts and one of Beirut's few preserved and quickly disappearing heritage buildings.
