Mashrou' Leila is a Lebanese indie rock band which music is really unusual. On the other hand, their lyrics, which speak openly and confront taboo subjects like sexuality, artistic freedom, gender identity, gay relationships, and political corruption, is trying to tear up the conventions of Arabic pop culture.
