Naher l kaleb like you've never seen it before.
It is a river in Lebanon that runs for 31 km from a spring in Jeita to the Mediterranean Sea. In ancient times, the Romans called it Lycus (River of the wolf), and the steep cliffs around the river made it an impassable barrier. There is a legend that states that a wolf guarded the river, and would howl when enemies approached.
Nahr el Kalb is also a historical valley where many great generals and rulers have set monuments, after victories and successful crossing.
It’s our responsibility to protect and preserve this historical cultural river.
