Meet Spring 2018 visiting student Rachel Landau, an Engineering major from @northeastern
My top three values are probably lightheartedness, logic, and resiliency.
To some degree I feel they are all related, but to explain logic, I feel that in order for people to be able to relate to one another, particularly ones comingfrom different walks of life, they need a common ground to work towards each other.
If you and another person speak to each other logically, you can understand how and why they came to be who they are, and they can do the same for you. Understanding changes minds, and in order for reconciliations to be made, minds need to be changed. Through this, logic brings the people who employ it together. I value logic for many reasons inherent to the concept itself, but also more tangibly in its use as a tool for cooperation.
