J’ai pensé à ma famille restée à Raqqa en Syrie et qui subit les combats entre Daech et les Forces gouvernementales. Peu importe qui est responsable des attentats de Qaa. Que ce soit Daech, le Front Al Nosra ou qui sais-je encore, tout ce que l’on souhaite c’est que ce qui se passe en Syrie ne se produise pas au Liban. Tout ce que j’espère c’est que le Liban reste en paix.” Lundi, huit kamikazes se font fait exploser à Qaa (Bekaa) faisant 5 morts et 28 blessés. Les attaques ont été attribuées à l’Etat Islamique, on ignore encore quelles étaient les motivations des assaillants. Depuis, l’armée a arrêté cinq kamikazes présumés, un sixième serait toujours en fuite. Deux autres attentats ont été déjoués à Beyrouth: l’un devait viser “une zone résidentielle peuplée” l’autre un “site touristique”. ----------
🇺🇸 “I was shocked by the suicide attempts in al-Qaa. It reminded me of my family who stayed behind in Raqqa, Syria, and who is stuck in the middle of the fight between Daech (ISIS) and Assad’s troops. I don’t care whether the culprits of the attack are Daech, Al-Nusra or I don’t know whom, I just wish that Lebanon stays at peace, that what is happening in Syria does not happen here too.” On Monday, 8 suicide bombers blew themselves up in al-Qaa, Bekaa, killing 5 people and injuring 28 others. Daech has been blamed for the attack, though te group didn’t claim responsibility for it. The reasons of the attack are still unclear. Since then, the Lebanese army arrested 5 people suspected of planning suicide attacks, one is presumably still on the run. And the army announced it has foiled 2 attack plots targeting a “touristic site” and a “heavily populated area” in Beirut.
