Hermel region is totally new to me or was new to me until last saturday.
The area is mostly arid but the Al-Assi river (Orontes river) which begins in Lebanon and flows through Syria and Turkey gives life to the whole region.
I was impressed by it's flow and the activities you can do but mostly by the kindness of the people living there.
