Have you been to Iran Garden? The garden, gift from Iran to the South of Lebanon for the martyrs of Maroun el Ras in the 2006 war, has an observation tower. When you climb that tower, you get that view, and a pair of binoculars that you can use to peek on our borders with Israel, only a kilometer away.
It was a long way to reach that spot of Bent Jbeil district, but I was happy to make it that far, for the first time. I felt more anchored and more in love with every bit of this beautiful country. ---------------------------------------------
