Bsharri - is a town at an altitude of about 1500 m in the Kadisha Valley in northern Lebanon.
The name Bsharri can be found in the Phoenician language 'Bet Ishtar' the house of Ishtar being a goddess worshipped by the phoenicians before Christianity was adopted in the area.
Bsharri is located in a highly touristic zone including many attractions such as Khalil Jibran Museum, Kadisha Valley, also known as the Valley of the Saints, Kadisha grotto, and the Cedars of God forest and several Ski resorts.
