Design is a process used to shape and structure our world; the clothes we wear, the products we use, the buildings we live and work in. In order for design to be an effective tool for the progress of society, it needs to be inclusive, incorporating the visions and voices of talented people from diverse social, cultural and economic backgrounds.
Today, due to a lack of opportunity here in Lebanon, talented young people often prefer to leave in pursuit of a better education and quality of life, thus diminishing the local economy and culture. At Creative Space Beirut, we are doing our part to challenge this.
