Alguns dos mais visitados edifícios históricos da cidade velha de Tripoli, são os mercados, localmente chamados de Khan. Este é o Khan Al Khayyatin, um souk semi-aberto do século 14 com telhados abobadados e colunas coríntias onde funcionava anteriormente um hospital da Idade Média, especialmente pelos Cruzados. Bem restaurados e com pequenas lojas, os mercados tradicionais da cidade valem a visita. This is the Khan Al Khayyatin, a semi-open 14th century souk with vaulted roofs and Corinthian columns where it formerly functioned as a hospital of the Middle Ages, especially by Crusaders. Well restored and with small shops, the traditional markets of the city are worth the visit.
