A recém restaurada sinagoga Maghen Abraham. Localizada no distrito judeu de Wadi Abou Jamil em Beirute, a Sinagoga Maghen Abraham é uma das principais sinagogas do Líbano, e uma das mais bonitas do mundo. Construída em 1925 e desenhada pelo arquiteto Bindo Manham, "Maghen Abraham" recebeu o nome do filho de Abraham Sassoon. Foi usado para estudos da Torá e palestras científicas, casamentos e outros eventos festivos.

Located in the Jewish district of Wadi Abou Jamil in Beirut, the Maghen Abraham Synagogue is one of the main synagogues in Lebanon.
Constructed in 1925 and designed by the architect Bindo Manham, “Maghen Abraham” was named after the son of Abraham Sassoon. It was used for Torah and scientific lectures, weddings and other festive events. During the Lebanese Civil War the synagogue was destroyed, and nowadays its restoration is completed but it still not open to the public or worshipers.
