A feeling of loneliness struck me as a lightning the past eid ⚡️⚡️. This was certainly not the first time I spend eid alone 💃 but being in a country that I don't speak it's language 🇫🇷 and not having friends who celebrate eid has played me hard this time. All I could hear from friends back home were complains of how they don't feel like it's eid, and that they don't feel the celebrations 🗣. I wish I could say how on earth can you not feel like it's eid when you're surrounded with your family and loved ones? And I thought of all those who have lost their families and loved ones to war, and I thought to myself alhamdulilah at least I know my family is living somewhere in this world 🌎 even if it's so far away but at least they are there. This thought lifted my spirit a bit. Always look at the bright side of things, appreciate what you have. الحمد لله على كل حال. Pick your self up cause no one will 💪 .
