When you left the supermarket with a plastic grocery bag, you never... When you left the supermarket with a plastic grocery bag, you never imagined that bag could cause such harm! Well now you know! This 50 year old sea turtle was found by a local fishermen off the coast of Lebanon. This is one of countless creatures affected by our devastating, careless, disrespectful and pathetic lifestyle. It is estimated that 10 million tons of plastic waste get into our oceans every year, this plastic breaks down into tiny fragments and impacts creatures small and large. We can never know for sure the damaging effects but surely, this damage is unimaginable. It's never too late to reverse this, of course there's no quick fix but we can make a difference with our every day actions. Our actions, which we may think are insignificant actual do have a big impact! A step at a time, we can make a difference because even a journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.  Time to wake up! REUSE, REDUCE, RECYCLE! SAY NO TO PLASTIC!
