Usually Mokhtara hiking trail is an easy one, but not today ... I wanted to go down the river all the way and not take the usual track. After around 30 minutes, the water just disappeared in the earth and I continued walking in the dry river bed. On my way I could see old mills, abandoned houses and authentic arch shaped bridges ... An hour later, and out of nowhere, life came back to the river and water was running again. You can see that nature was taking over and erasing all human existence. It was the first time I feel it's a bit crazy to go to such places alone, slippery rocks, dead ends, high rockery cliffs ...
