"The column that escaped from Baalbeck temple" 📍 2019 ↔️ 1900 Standing alone since 1800 years, no one is sure why this Corinthian column exists. Some say it was built by St. Helena while others say it marks the site of a great ancient battle. The only fact is that this 18 meters column is exactly halfway between the temple complex of Baalbeck and a smaller temple known as "Qasr al Banat" in nearby Chlifa.
