New moon cycle, new place, new stars to be seen ... I was working late yesterday night and couldn't sleep. All my gear was already in the car. Can't think of a better place for my next milky way capture; at an altitude of around 2540 m, El- Mzar is the perfect spot. One issue, I only get up there during winter, on the chairlift with my snowboard ... After driving a bit more than an hour, I walked in total darkness for around an hour and a half to get there. Crazy, I know, but it was worth it. Trust me when I tell you that other than in South Africa and New Zealand, I never saw such a clear sky and that much stars. I couldn't believe my eyes !!! We are missing a lot staying in the cities ... it doesn't need a big effort.
