Naan bread 🌸Buttery soft delicious ! Better than the store bought and... (Greater Montreal) Naan bread 🌸 Buttery soft delicious ! Better than the store bought and tastes just like the restaurants !! Ingredients🌸 2 cups of flour + 1 cup if needed 1 cup of water 1 tsp of yeast 1/2 tsp of sugar 1 tsp of salt 2 tbsp of yogurt or 3 tbsp of milk 2 tbsp of oil 2 tbsp of butter 1 tbsp of nigella seeds Salt Method 🌸 -In a bowl, add the water, sugar and yeast and leave for 5 minutes then add the yogurt and oil -In another bowl, add the flour and salt and whisk together then add the liquids and kneed adding flour if it sticks to your hand - when in forms a soft,slightly sticky dough transfer to a greased bowl and leave it for around an hour to rise -Separate into 6 balls and using a rolling pin or your hands, form 6 circles on a floured surface -In a frying pan and on a medium to high heat cook the naan on both sides until they bubble and get a nice color - while they are still hot, brush with soft butter and spinkle with some salt and nigella seeds Serve with your favorite Indian dish i served it with butter chicken and it was the Bomb !
