It has the highest ratings and it may be the best movie of the year but to me, the purpose of the cinema is entertainment and DUNKIRK didn't entertain me. From the technical point of view it is a strong movie indeed but the war theme is not MY weak point. I left the movie depressed but I repeat if you like well executed war movies then it is for you, yet if you are like me, seeking entertainment, then it's not.
