Huge THANK YOU for my new friend, Lebanon mountain sport icon, outdoor guru and fearless adventure guide, Avedis Kalpaklian. Avo led me on a 6 day 17 hour run across Lebanon last week assisting every step of the way in setting a new Fastest Known Time for running the Lebanon Mountain Trail; a record he held himself previously and graciously helped me chase. He is an exceptional person and I'm honored to have had the opportunity to share the trail and learn from his vast experience in mountains around the world. Fresh air is rare, and so are people like Avedis!
